Autumn leaves under frozen souls

It's the first of October! I love October, you get all the loveliness of cosy winter jumpers, coming inside to a warm house and lots of hot chocolates, but it's far away enough from Christmas, which means you don't have to worry about spending money you don't have on presents for people.

But anyways, I went out with my flatmate, a fellow fashion blogger, and we took pictures of each other's outfits. I wore autumnal colours; dark greens and rusty-orange colours, to sort of match the fallen leaves on the ground and all that. Also, I like wearing shorts. Even though all traces of summer has gone from the weather, it's never gone from my heart, so I wear shorts. It makes sense to me.

About halfway through we were joined by a very pretty dog, who wanted to be our friend, and who wanted to be in pictures. It made it into a few.
I want a husky now.

We took pictures round the corner from our house in a very beautiful park. I think this is gonna be the setting for most of my pictures from now on.

Oh Hai ^_^

Hello! This is my first ever fashion blog, I'm a complete novice to this, so hopefully everything will get less rubbish as time goes by, but I just wanted to put SOMETHING on here and to say hi.

That's me by the way.
I've been wanting to do a fashion blog for a long time now, but never had the motivation to just get on with it. This year is my last of University; I am a journalism student, and I really REALLY want to work in fashion, so I'm mainly using this for practice, but I think it's probably a good idea to get into the habit about writing articles on a regular basis.

I've been taking pictures of outfits I've liked for a while now, and doing the whole lookbook thing, but I'd stopped for no real reason. I want to do get into it again, and do it properly this time, having a blog and all.
Ok, that last one wasn't for serious.

Although I'm going to be posting a lot of 'What I'm wearing today' updates, I also want to include stuff like: writing about trend patterns, commentary on new styles, and monthly charity shop challenges, where I have to buy an outfit each month, composed entirely of charity shop finds, for less than £10. Maybe I'll leave out the shoes though. Buying people's old shoes kind of creeps me out, even more so than buying someone's old bedding. Don't ask me why.

Okay, that's all for now. More soon.
